Barbering.

So, I’m pretty positive I’m ready to start the barbering program at IBS School of Cosmetology now. 

Next starting date is the 30th of this month and the one after that is the 25th of June, so let’s hope that It’s not too late to sign up for this month. 

Still a little nervous and have doubts, as I’m sure most people are about jumping into a new career field. However, from what I’ve found and seen, I really enjoy the whole barber culture. I feel like I’d be a great fit as I don’t tend to take to the whole ‘work a dead end job that you hate for the rest of your life just to pay bills’, when you could do something you enjoy, and yes, potentially make less money, but be way happier. Plus the creative aspect really appeals to me. I always love to see a finished piece. 

Plus, the option (if finances allow) of opening and owning a small barbershop would be amazing. I could finally put my Small Business Ownership certificate to use! 

Any input or advice from training/established barbers, or anyone for all that matter?
